The gift of dance

Maranatha's founder, Paula Himschoot, has been teaching dance for over 30 years. Several years ago following the Lord's direction, she named the business "Maranatha" which means "the Lord is coming back." 

 

We emphasize using the gift of dance to bring glory to the Lord rather than to ourselves. The focus of our classes can be summed up in the verse from Philippians 2:3-4 "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind, regard one another as more important than yourself. Do not merely look out for your own interest but also for the interests of others."
